  • Where can I buy Wellington XXX current bush ???

Some time ago in a discussion on here some nice people recomended Wellington XXX for flavour. The discussion was about new varieties. I posted that some of my 'newer' varieties although very prolific, they didn't have the taste I remember from my childhood.

I beleive that Wellington XXX is an 'older' variety but has excellant flavour but where can I buy them ???

Have tried a few well known names (Including Pomona who I have used in the past) I'm having a problem. Any suggestions most welcome

Thanks for above, last time I contacted the ones listed they said 'out of stock' but that was a while back. I will have another try latter today. Would not wish to use JParker due to problems we once had with them.

Try Tweedies in Scotland ( google search) they don’t have a website but can
Be contacted by phone very reliable in plants being true to type , I’m sure they used to have Wellington XXX,
It’s old and I’m finding most companies mainly stocking them Ben series of currants if all else fails I have Wellington xxx that I might be able to supply
        Best wishes stew

Thanks for that - I still have a couple of weeks before the 'plot' is cleared of weeds, so I will contact them.

Looks to me like J.Parker & Hedging.co.uk are the same. Chris Bowers a tad expensive.
