I know!! Really like the look of it! meant to buy one last year, but got muddled and bought tomatillo seeds instead! All good though as I love tomatillos now! Had to search and search for this as couldnt quite remember where Id seen them or what they were called!
Perhaps no one here has grown them?

curses my message just disappeared...but just to say YES, i have, from seed and so far they have been brilliant - one about 50 cm high, one more like 150cm, both in pots, and the latter covered in fruit. They look incredible and I'm very proud! Don't yet know how they'll taste, or quite what to do with them, but definitely recommended.
Others have grown too and gave me helpful advice, btw.

Edit...hang on, have I been dim, sorry...this was a post about TOMATILLOS! on a thread about tamarillos...eek. how embarrassing. durr.

Oh no!! My quest continues!! I guess ill just have to try and remember to give them a go myself and feed back to everyone!
Dont worry BroadRipple I grow and love tomatillos too!!
