What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?

Depends where you are in the country (can you put your location in your profile pls?)

But, in general, I would say it was a bit early.

Mines just starting to pop up. You know spring is round the corner when that happens. I don't mean full growth of course, just the pinky/red large fats buds starting to develop.

My shoots have just appeared. A small ray of pink in an ocean of darkness.

                Not fair flobalob!

Mine are still hiding, and my neighbour has only tiny pink nubs (someone will know the technical terms here) and we are further south than you.

Gulliver, I'm not sure what variety mine are but they're still thinking it's too cold here in the Chilterns.

Kent , very small but perfectly formed leaves with small stems got plenty in the freezer so won't be cutting any yet, I think Mr Frost will have something to say about them when he sees them
