  • rhubarb 'Mammoth Red'

I've recently read about Rhubarb 'Mammoth Red' (also called Mammoth, Stott's Mammoth, or The Giant) which is a variety that grows very tall. I have an area on my plot where I think that would look really great growing. But I can't seem to find anyone who sells it. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? And if anyone here grows it, what do you think of it?

Gan. have you tried Robinsons? They have mammoth onions, mammoth red onions and mammoth leeks. Worth a try, it may be a Robinsons' breed. (hope my apostrophe is in the place. The firm's name is Robinsons so I think it is but someone will be sure to tell me if it's not )

Thanks, but I checked there and they don't have it. But thanks for the suggestion!

Try contacting this company, it might be listed on this page, if not they may have it or know who does have it, it has some other names such as stotts giant etc

Thanks. I had glanced at their website, but when I saw that it said they weren't sending out orders for the foreseeable future, I didn't look any further. But I might email them, just to see what they say.
