3 years ago I cleared out an jungle of very old raspberries that had not been looked after for about 11 years. Wife wants to have some more but the only available space will be where the old ones were. Will it be O.K. to put them in the same place or am I risking a problem? The old ones were not diseased ,just a mess.

Should be fine. You must've done a good job if you managed to get rid of the old ones. Just make sure you give the soil some good prep this year with manure etc and you should get some good raspberries next year (you might get some this year but it depends on what type you get). -
i am still getting runners from rasps i shifted two years ago,you have done well to get shot of them all,my soil fine just put some fertiliser in itComment
