I've only ever grown Autumn Bliss and I'm happy with them.

Never grown Polka - started with Autumn Bliss, now grow only Joan J and wouldn't go back. Still picking them today.

Over the years I've tried many raspberry varieties. The only ones which didn't die were Autumn Bliss and Allgold (which appears to be a yellow variant of Autumn Bliss).

I grow autumn bliss and all gold and like both.

Did have two polka but they turned up their toes and died, no idea why as they were planted at the same time as the other four and treated the same.

They started growing new shoots then they turned yellow then brown and the main cane looked dead as well, they didn’t go dry or get too wet as far as I know and in the same bed as the others so I personally wouldn’t recommend them as they are clearly more susceptible to something.

Iíve not grown Joan J but I have Polka and Autumn Bliss, and I much prefer Polka - huge fruit on vigorous plants, great flavour. I also have All Gold and donít rate them that highly, flavour is ok but the fruit is very soft and turns to mush within a day of picking.
