    Peach leaf curl

    My peach tree is dying! All the leaves are curled and dying, is there anything I can do?
    It's next to an apple and plum tree (all in containers) - should I move it asap or does it not spread to other trees?

    Anything I can do or should I get rid of this tree? I can't upload photos from my phone unfortunately.

    A bit late for this - but peaches need to be protected from the rain over winter. Since yours is in a pot maybe you can move it into shelter for next year?

      The weird thing is, it's only just started the last couple of weeks - which is after the rain as weather has been good here recently!

        Once its infected for this year the only treatment that they say works and ( does seem to work ) is supposed to be diluted oil of oregano or oil of thyme the other treatments are to stop infection before hand.

        the copper and lime needs to be on the leaves before the contact with spores as a barrier.

          I was in your boat last year, learnt lesson and seem ok this. My suggestion would be to keep it well feed as it will need to produce lots of leaves, think taking the infected leaves, especially the higher ones up helped too

              if you want a reliable crop of peaches you will need to get cover for the trees, I covered an area in the back yard and it has worked a treat, especially with the amount of falling water we usually get round here, and the peaches don't mind any cold , it is our wet climate that disagrees with it, and the airborne mould that it carries..

                Thank you so much for this nugget of wisdom. I now have a sunday morning regime of misting with salad dressing (home-made oregano, garlic and thyme in veg oil) in water and it really seems to help. I also spend time just picking over the trees. Really pleased, thank you
