Very happy with this tree as I bought it approx. 5 years ago,last year it gave me a few apples(about the size of golf balls) i think it maybe a cox's orange pippin

Hallo there Captain and welcome to the vine.
I got a number of apples, cherries, plums and pears fom Aldi/Lidle/B&M in the beginning of 2016. https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...e-orchard.html
All but one apple if fruiting this year (the on that isn't I made the mistake of letting it develop fruit in the first year which stunted it's growth, bent it over and cracked the stem so I cut it back this year and it's springing back nicely - I won't make that mistake again)
