Does anyone know about more this as a rootstock?

I've just ordered some peaches on it to be planted as standard trees in an part of the orchard that's got a tall hedge twenty feet away to the north, so its an area that's sheltered from the most bitter winds. I chose this rootstock for its cold hardiness properties as some peach trees on St Julian I planted there a few years back haven't survived the wintery spells.

Sorry, not heard of this in UK. Have heard of it in the USA but we do not use it. If it is cold-hardy by US standards then it will be way in excess of anything we have in the UK!

Keepers are using it for several of their peach trees. When you google Krymsk you get pictures of the city inundated with flooding, so maybe it'll be good for years like this, too!
