They will need planting asap. Are you container growing or putting them in the ground? They will need quite a bit of room and maybe some fertiliser mixed in before you plant.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

You may even get a crop this year - encourage those 12 inch canes!

Get them in asap. Don`t miss the chance of possible crop this year.If you get too many you can allway`s make some raspberry gin. Do you know what they are?. I have glen ample, joan j, and polka. Also have some of the yellow ones that were given to me but no name.

This maybe a little premature, but was watching Edible Garden on BBC2 a week or so again, and it was said that if you only prune back half the canes during the winter (maybe even spring) months the canes that have been left unpruned will fruit in july, giving you an extra crop.

I think I just confused myself there, so easy way of putting it is:

    Prune for Sept Crop
    Leave for July Crop
