Itsaul Summer Raspberry Plant help

Hello,

I recently acquired an itsaul summer raspberry plant and I�m already facing some issues! My leaves are wilting and most of them are crunchy. I originally thought my plant had root rot, but I�m unsure since the roots are not mushy (they are brown and firm). I have some small brown dots on the cane as well as larger brown spots, one well over an inch in length. I live in the Atlanta GA area and was originally watering it a little every day but once it started wilting I decreased the water amount out of fear of overwatering. Any advice? Can my plant still be saved?

I'd advise contacting the supplier, if you bought the plant - leaves dying at this time of year means something serious is wrong, but I'm not sure what the problem is.
