  • How soon ????

I took some cuttings in Autumn 2018 of black currants and other fruit bushes. I planned to move them this spring as they have made some nice bushes. The buds are swelling and they are in the way. How soon do I dare digging them up and replanting in their final positions?

    Thanks.

If the ground tends not to freeze where you are then doing it now should be fine.
If the ground does freeze, best to wait until late February - early March. Don't leave it too late, though, as it's best to do it before the buds burst.
