high dining

we have spent today picking our apples,only to find that the bramleys were being eaten by woodlouse,hundreds of the little b****rs, and i am talking 6-8ft up ,so instead of being able to wrap and store them all,nearly 50% are damaged,so it will be apple pie,crumble,danish and turnovers til they are used up,as no more room in the coffin sized freezer,its not the end of the world though,i think in the morning i will make an apple,sultana and cinnamon loaf and a french style apple tart,that should use a few up,that only leaves a large builders bucketful to sort,i wont need a doctor for yonks to come.......if you can hear mumbling,its only me trying to follow the recipes,i do bread but this is different,close your ears when the swearing starts......... ps the james grieve are superb and untouched...?
