Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a desert grape variety which would not only grow but give us some sweet and juicy fruits in North Yorkshire? We have a south facing back garden which is a bit exposed and can be windy...any ideas of varieties, and if they exist, where I could get one? Thanks...x

Lakemont will do well. You can get them from the chap who has the national collection but I will neeed to hunt out his details. They cost about a tenner. -
It would be better still if you could put up a grrenhouse or poly tunnel, you can grow what you like then.ntg
