  • Fruit Tree Recognition Help Please

We have recently moved into a new house which has a number of fruit trees already established. I'm guessing an Apple of some sort and the other smaller fruit I have no idea therefore any comments most welcome.

Hi SBE and welcome to the Grapevine.
I've moved your post into "Feeling Fruity" as more of our fruit experts will see it here.
Pics 1 and 4 are apples. I can't see whether the other fruits have a stalk and a "tail" at the bottom, or whether they are rounded like plums.
Whatever they are, its always a bonus to move to a house with established fruit trees.

Sorry, but not realistic to identify apples from photographs unless you have close up of leaves, flowers, also the flowering period, both ends of a typical apple from that tree, bisected apple showing layout of pips, colour of apple etc, the list goes on.
Identifying varieties of apples, pears is a very specialized, time consuming pastime.
You may find it worthwhile joining the RHS enabling you to utilize their expertise.
There are thousands of known apple varieties throughout the world.
I hope this has been of some use to you
Feed the soil, not the plants.

They all look like apples, the smaller ones with red stalks may be ornamental crabapples. You'll just have to wait and see what they taste like

From your piccies, I'm presuming there are 2 espaliered?
I've never heard of anyone espaliering a crab apple.
My guess is that those are probably both eating apples.

Time will tell...they have loads of filling out to do!
Let us know how you get on.

Oh...and could you please put your rough location in your profile ?
I would have suggested, had you lived in a certain region that you might gave some apple fairs/ experts would could precisely I'd your fruit later on in the year!
