  • Food for raspberries

    Hi Guys
I have some ericaceous feed for my blueberries, would this also be a good feed for my autumn bliss raspberries, when in fruit or before or both.

Would dissolved chicken poo be good as well, and tomato food.

I have all of the above and was wondering which to use, and when.

What about strawberries when in fruit any of the above good bad for them.

    Thanks
    Sheila

Hi Sclarke624. The only one I really know about is raspberries. They don't really need a lot of feeding which can promote leafy growth at the expense of fruit.

I feed mine every couple of years in spring with chicken pooh. I think feeding now would be counter productive and i certainly wouldn't bother feeding when anything is in fruit. The hard work has already been done. I reckon ericaceous food should be OK as rasps like an acid soil. But I wouldn't bother now. You really are a bit late for 2009 so don't worry about it. I would leave it till next March/April.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
