  • Feeding Strawberries

    My strawberries are just beginning to ripen. Should I be feeding them and if so with what and how often please.

    I've been feeding mine tomato food once a week and they are super sweet! Good luck!

      You shouldn't feed Strawberries till after they have fruited, It idea is that the plant thinks it is diying and produces more fruit, once the fruit is gone you give it a good feed and cut back the leaves and it stores the feed over the winter.

        Like NOg I feed after fruiting with a good dose of NPK (eg Growmore) and then again in the early spring when they are showing signs of growth after the winter. It seems to keep the plants healthy, vigorous and productive.
