I planted my mini fig and nectarine trees out in the tunnel this evening after work. I figured the chance of frost was fairly slim from now on so it's safe to do it. The nectarine is looking really well now. There were a few buds on it when I got it but it's got lovely open flowers on it now.

well DARWIN,are you hand pollinating them? as this cold spring means that bees/flies are like hens teeth at the moment,or are you going to be training them?..that blossom looks wonderful...Last edited by BUFFS; 17-04-2013, 03:36 PM.Comment

I've never hand pollinated anything before but I'm going to give it a go at the weekend. I'll do it a few times to be sure.
They'll be staying in the polytunnel for good, I'll keep them at a suitable shape and size.Comment
