  • Diseased Thornless Tayberry

It looked very promising at first but fruit ripened and became mummified.

Also black spots on leaves and stems.

Any idea what's gone wrong please.

I don't know why, but a tayberry on one of the allotment plots has the same symptoms, with the leaves actually fully reddening and dying off and the fruit mummifying!
My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)

    Diversify & prosper

Not seen it on a Tayberry before, but my money is on fungus leaf spot for the leaves - not sure on the fruit - the two are not necessarily caused bu the same thing.
