Hi Folks
Just been down to the allotment today, which i try to get to at this time of year at least every other day, and found my Blackcurrants absolutely devastated and full of whitefly not one on the Red or White Currants just on the Black
All the leaves have curled up and not a sign of any fruit in sight
I did not know that Blackcurrants were prone to whitefly infestation....It is so prolific that when i washed them off with the hose the soil underneath was white
I have obviously lost the crop for this year but for future years is there anything i can do to prevent it hapening again or if i notice it soon enough can i do anything to get rid of them
