Went out to check on my small poly-tunnel the other day, to do some watering and pollinate the apricot tree which is currently in flower. Imagine my surprise to find a rather lovely, what I think was a grey-tailed queen bumble-bee, already at work. The only problem was to coax her back out in to the open air.

Not really - I rather enjoy a bit of paint brush work - I leave the doing it badly bit for any cleaning I get reluctantly roped in to.Comment

All I've found is two Queen Wasps in my greenhouse overwintering in the plant pots.Comment
