ID:	2405778This tree is only in its second year in my garden. Got hit by a severe late frost last year and this year does not look very happy. Any suggestions what might be wrong? Hopefully not fireblight as presumably I’ll need to take it up and destroy?

Thanks in advance!Click image for larger version

I'm voting for leaving it, and seeing how it looks in a few weeks time.

If you fancied rigging up some sort of frame so you could put a clear roof over it for the time being - that wouldn't hurt anything and might keep it drier.

It might be peach leaf curl,it can affect apricots. People used to use Bordeaux mixture a copper based fungicide but it’s been banned,I’ve heard aspirin being used as an anti fungal, there’s a link here that shows the disease -

Have any other deciduous plants which don't belong to the rosaceae family got similar damage?
If so, it's more likely to be frost.

If not, then cut through the stem where there is damage on the leaves....fireblight ususally shows a discolouration inside...

It could be peach leaf curl...some of those leaves do look a bit distorted?
My peach tends to go red as it's distorting , and then shrivels up and dies...but I've no idea about an apricot.

I don't think apricots get fireblight, and the internet seems to agree. What you have doesn't look like fireblight on pears, where the discoloration is black and the leave completely collapses. I tentatively agree with the peach leaf curl theory.

As mentioned fireblight tends to affect rose family and not stone fruit. I would also veer towards leaf curl but close up pics would be good (please? ) The branches look healthy no oozing gum so spray the tree once a week with herb and garlic oil in water and remove the worst of the infected leaves https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...ml#post1526214

ID:	2377465Couple of close ups, one set of leaves just starting to go and one well gone. Looks to be starting at the leaf tips.

I'm in France, so I haveBordeaux mixture if needed!

Still unsure exactly what the problem is - no harm in spraying it with Bordeaux mixture as you have some.
