Do sawfly larva only go for red currants, the gooseberry affected is right next to a blackcurrant and I haven't seen any damage on that. I think I've got most of the little critters though, I found one yesterday but none this morning.

    Not that I know BK.

I would keep an eye out for a week or so just to make sure you got them all as they'll strip the leaves in no time!

No Bk, Blackcurrents are relatively pest free, so you should be ok.

Trust me NTG I'm checking every time I go past the bushes, about six times a day as I keep going to the greenhouse to admire my plants I found one this evening, it's squashed! but no more signs of obvious feasting like I had on Saturday.
