  • Compost awareness week

This came through from RecycleNow. There's nothing close enough to me, but some of you might be lucky.Event finder

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
    Now a little Shrinking Violet.

Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

Nothing near me either, doesn't look like it's a very wide spread event from the posts so far!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Very eco burning 40 odd miles of petrol to look at some compost...I get the feeling that councils are only interested in compst as it savs them land fill taxes.

Good grief, there's actually one a couple of miles from here. I could go to see the giant compost heaps at a nearby NT house - if it wasn't on Wednesday when I'm at work
