  • 2014 TV gardening

    Hi all,

With talk of sowing onions, etc, over christmas, and the relentless e-mail adverts from the seed companies regarding ordering seed potatoes, etc, I thought it'd be good to look towards 2014 in regards to what the TV gardening shows will bring us.

I know there are mixed feelings regarding various shows, but I thought last year brought a good mix with GW being shown with Beechgrove on a Sunday (which was new for England), along with the A-Z of Gardening.

    Anyways......

What are you all looking forward to in 2014? Or what type of new things are you all hoping will be covered?

I've always wished that GW would have a bit more veg coverage, perhaps a bit more like we seemed to get with Beechgrove, having not really watched it before 2013.

yeh- they never seem to do enough with veg do they?

Covering organic alternatives would be really useful too- espesh to those of us who were raised upon 'the old school' ideas!!

    good thread Paulie!!

Beechgrove is my favourite program so I'd like to see other TV shows following their lead.

I too love Beechgrove, but don't like it when they spend a lot of the program on big formal gardens...
