Still no sign of the wind abating so my tunnel is still bereft of covering .
Neec a break in the weather soon - got thousands and thousands of seeds to sow !! Hope to start getting my onion sets planted next week assuming the pig slurry is spread and the ploughing done.
Was at the veg boxes again today - contents this week included some or all of the following ; potatoes, carrots, onions, swede, leeks, cabbage, savoy cabbage, cauliflower, parsnips, pak choi (!!).
Farmers Market tomorrow - there could be a dispute between me and some of the other locals - they wanna insist I only sell what I have grown myself - but as I am in the veg box business and have 45 - 50 box customers a week, this just isn't feasible - I don't see any problem as long as I am open and honest with customers. And I know there is no-one else selling veggies at all and I also know that I bring about 20 customers to the market to buy veg so the other stallholders shouldn't complain - I'm ready for a bust-up - don't think they realise I know what they are saying - I have my sources - remember - I used to run informants for a living
Will update you tomorrow !!
