Default The 'What I Did Today' Archive - 2007

    Mod's Edit:

The 'What I Did Today' Archive - 2007
The 'What I Did Today' thread is something of an institution on the Grapevine, having started and been run continuously since 2006. At nearly 7 years old (at the time of writing this) it had grown to over 300 pages, and was becoming difficult to browse. So we have decided to separate the posts into a thread for each year, and put them into the Archive for ease of use, keeping only the current and previous year in the active thread.

This thread is for 'What I Did Today', 2007.

    Things I did today.
This is intended to act as an aid memoir to everyone on the grapevine. I hope it will help remind us of tasks that should be carried out at the time of year each posting is written.
It is not intended to be a Blog or a journal but simply an aid to help. I hope everyone will post what they did in their garden or allotment each day.

Renewed 2 fence panels and posts which had been destroyed by the strong winds. Also turned the compost heap which is going to be dug into the herb bed in March. Can't wait for the sun to shine though!

Had my first day off since before the 18th of December where I havent got friends or family round, so the first chance for a very lazy day! Off again tomorrow and planning to get down to the plot and finish pruning the goosegogs and sorting out the other soft fruits at the back of the plot, then back home to start off gerinating some plants ready for planting in the not too distant future!!

Just wish the ground would dry out a bit so we can get the other bed and an 1/8th bed double dug!
    Blessings
