    I love raised beds!

My entire plot runs on em! Various sizes n heights!

Even the main large beds are slightly raised! Just to give a helping hand in warming the soil this time of year!

we moved here in december 2013 to a plot of concrete up to 18" deep after removing the concrete which took 2 weeks with 2 diggers and a tractor, the beds were started with 4x 1" on 2x2 corners and strengtheners with whatever soil we could get scraped together in time over the base, this year we have deepened the beds with another board and a couple of good loads of manure ! hopefully this year will be as good as last or even a bit better
