    Wanted: Allotment in East London

    Hi everyone,

    I've lived on the Isle of Dogs (E14 9LS) for a couple of years now, and have been on a number of waiting lists for an allotment space. I'm really eager to get things going, however. Does anybody know of any areas with available plots?

    I know this is a huge shot in the dark, but no harm in trying!!

    You may be on the waiting lists Tim, but have you ever contacted them to find out if there's been any progress?

    Also visit the sites in your area and get chatting to the plotholders.

        Hi rustylady - thanks for the response. I have recently began to get in touch for some follow-ups. No joy so far.

        I've started to go down the community garden road. Balcony gardening just isn't quite cutting the mustard anymore!
