    Private Allotment - Northampton

    Hi,

    Does anyone have contact details for any of the private allotment sites in the Northampton area? I've had my name on the waiting list for a council run site for quite some time but don't seem to be getting anywhere fast and was hoping I might have more luck with a private site.

    Northampton Based Allotments

    Hi,
    noticed your post re Private Allotments in Northampton, I am Chairman for Lark Lane Allotments Association based at Grange Park, Northampton, we have 100 plots on the field, unfortunately we have no current vacancies but are operating a waiting list which is up to approx 80 at present.

    The Field is only 9 months old so although everyone was super keen this year we would expect some vacancies to occur year on year.

    Our Allotments are Parish Council funded(Initially) and Self Maintained/Run by the Commitee. Because we are ouside Northampton Borough's Control its a Higher Quality Site and all monies/Rent we collect is ploughed back into the Field/Assoc unlike NBC.

        The original poster only made that one post in September 2010 and hasn't been back so doubt he'll see your reply. Still might be others in the area looking for plots.

              Allotments on Kingsley Park

              If anyone is still looking for an allotment in Northampton, I am moving away and have 2 which are available on Kingsley Park behind Morrisons supermarket on Kettering Road.

              9 pole with adjacent well so good access to water. With shed in good condition and greenhouse in need of repair. Large metal frame previously poly-tunnel but presently with netting for fruit. Established fruit trees, raspberries and blackcurrants.

              25 pole which can split to 10 + 15 pole. With one good shed.
