    Hi all
    Just to let any one in the solihull area there will be new allotments available from 01-01-11 at Henwood Lane Nr Catherinr-De-Barnes, solihull
    i think the cost will be £3.00 per week,
    if you need a new growing plot

      Surely that figure must be an error. I think my plot costs £5 per annum.

          To be honest it's hardly worth charging you a fiver as that'll barely cover the admin . OK so £3 a week is more than most pay (mine is only just over £20 per year) and sounds rather steep but it does depend on the whole set up and at least there are some being provided.

          Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

          Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

            On the surface sounds expensive but without knowing what you get for your £3 a week don't know how expensive. How does that figure fair with other Solihull sites?

              Solihull ain't the posh end of Brum?
              I think £3 a week is a tad expensive even in that location.
              I/we pay £18 half rate (pensioner) a year, we get a skip(no bonfires) and water.
