A new allotment site near me was in the Oldham Advertiser inside front page last night.
It's off Fields New Road and they've been lucky enough to buy their site from the housing association for £1. They have had to raise lots of money (130k!) to do the work but from someone else I've been told it's got loos and is pretty impressive.
I can't see the news story online yet else I'd link to it.
I'm hoping to go and have a look sometime (Is it just me who is really nosey wanting to look at other sites?)
