  • May be getting an allotment!

Just heard mutterings of a local allotment site and I am meeting one of the involved members tomorrow. Very exciting! I could do so much with the space, including turning one of the garden veg patches into a polytunnel and really get some fancy crops growing in there!

    Everything crossed...

      Good luck with that

Is it in Glasgow? Been trying for a while but without success which is why I've dug up my mum's back garden!
      What would Delia do?

Well the allotments don't seem to be going anywhere but there is an avenue just opened up through landshare

Just got the physical bit to do now (digging)

        Good luck all

          *UPDATE*

Got a space through landshare, good size, polytunnel to build, greenhouse to clean, fairly high altitude but gets the sun all day long so it's great!

It appears to be about the same size as my TWO plots!

Plenty to keep you busy there!

Only bad thing I guess is that's it's 5 miles away but can't complain. It's also around 250m altitude but I won't let that spoil the fun!

I'll do a photo and written diary and get it up here sometime through the season.
