hi all im new to the forum and so im a total beginner. i am looking for an allotment so i can learn and grow my own fruit and veg. i live in leeds so allotments are probberbly hard to get round here but im prepared to wait and look forwards to the day i get one! i contacted the council but no reply yet so if anyone has any ideas where to try im all ears! thank you tom.

Do you know where your nearest allotment sites are? If you do then have a walk around and have a chat with some of the plot holders. They will be able to tell you if there are any vacant plots. -

thank you that would be much appreciated, I'm in Bramley and a local one would be great. i have done a few enquiries and got myself onto a waiting list but have been told i could be waiting for some time. would be nice to get one while i can dig it over etc ready for planting up in spring!Comment

I have an allotment in Thornbury, Just passed the big roundabout. We have plot holders from all over Bradford and Pudsey. Currently there is about 13 unused plots on our site.
