Default Looking for an allotment in havering Essex?

I’m looking for an allotment in havering. I have been on havering website but cannot find any contact numbers or any details on available plots.
    Any help is appreciated.

Hi Julie and welcome to the vine

Here's a page on Havering Councils website with the contact details of the site secretaries

Hope you have some success calling them.

I gave up my plot at the Grey Towers site in Hornchurch last October. Last I heard there were plots available there. If you're interested, it's hopeless trying to go via the council though, best thing is to turn up at the allotment shop on Saturday or Sunday between 11:00 and 12:00 and ask there.

I'd give the same advice for any other places to be honest: find a site, turn up at the weekend and look for a noticeboard or ask a friendly plotholder near the gate. Councils are struggling to find resources to discharge their obligations regarding allotments!
