Can anyone tell me why my garlic this year just had lots of little cloves almost round instead of one head with normal cloves it was still shaped like a normal garlic but just had loads of little bulblets!!!!

The weather is usually the cause. You can replant them at the proper time and often they will grow full size normal heads of garlic next season if conditions are right.

I blame the weather! Some of mine was OK, and some like yours Tweet.

The little round cloves are the bulbils that normally come out of the stems, but because of the weather being rubbish this year the garlic hasnt grown like it normally would.
On the bright side you can plant all the little bulbils towards the end of next month and they will grow into garlic bulbs for next year.
