Croydon council has closed it's waiting list and won't be adding anyone else to it until at least 2013.
There is a vast amount of land available in Croydon, but the council parks department are not interested in discussing it.
My missus is about to start a campaign to get something done about it - it might end up with nothing, might end up with us setting up new private allotments - who knows .....
