  • Allotments in Cheshire?

    Hello,

I am looking for an allotment in Cheshire, preferably in the Northwich area or nearby as we live in Anderton. I am wanting to buy or lease one for my Grandfather as a present for him, his house only has a small paved over garden so he is currently trying to grow various vegetables in tubs and bins!

    Thanks!

Best way is to contact your local council.

I have done but sadly I live in a tiny village where there aren't any allotments and the Northwich council won't consider me for any of their 3 plots as I technically don't come under their council.
        So what can I do?

Have a look round your area and identify the nearest sites. Speak to somebody on those site to find out who to contact. I've had a few people do this with me as mine is a parish council one and therefore not that obvious to find when you do a Warrington allotment search on the web.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I see this is an old thread but if your still looking I could advise of an available plot not far away I. Frodsham.

That's fab! Get a notice in the local shops/pubs and see who else is interested in one!

Hi Andrew and welcome to the Forum. I've deleted your phone number so that you won't be pestered by spammers.
The person who posted about the Wincham allotments has not visited this site since 2015 but you could try sending them a Private Message.
If you know where the allotments are, its often best to make a visit and speak to someone on site.
