Contact your local council. They should be able to give you details of allotments in your area and who runs them. Posted the link here for you Allotments

Thank you Rusty Lady, Yes i have contacted the Borough council and also our local town council already waiting lists are enormous unfortunatly..... and we at present have no allotments at all in our local area, the nearest are miles away. At least if i do manage to get one the exercise getting there will keep me trim. Heres hopeing i dont have to wait years!!!

There was somebody on here getting a petition together re lotties in Birchwood, will try and find the link for you to contact them.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

You can have mine, I am giving it up at the end of the season. Unfortunately it is in the wrong location.

Have you tried Landshare while you are waiting for an allotment of your own Landshare - connecting growers to people with land to share.

i wouldn't dream of depriving you of your wonderful veggie plot, so i'll just have to wait some more.... i do have a tiny patch in my garden that is being prepared for veggies for the very first time.. My shrubs and flowers including my beloved magnolia have had to be sacrificed for the venture. Once i get an allotment or some land to grow fruit and veg, i will replace my shrubs and flowers.

hello. i've got a massive garden and its actually a waste of space as i don't use it. if anybody interested in growing veg, i don't mind.

If you're still looking for a lottie round Birchwood area then there is a large billboard sign at the Orford end of Birchwood Express Way giving a number to ring if you're interested. Not too sure where they are but sounds promising. Can try and remember the number when I go past on my way to work if you're interested.
