Went up for a meeting today with the committee along with another 2 gentlemen, they had 3 plots available (2 full size and one half) So it was up to us to scrap it out between us. I would have been content with the half plot but one of the guys really wanted it, so I've ended up with a full size plot, along with an 8x12 greenhouse.

It's in great condition, the previous owner has moved to a bigger plot 5 greenhouses down so all it needs is some minor tidying.

I'm on mobile at the moment and the website is being buggy and nd not letting me post pictures, but I'll add them later today.
What..!? You aren't or you are?!? I think spell check got involved there for a moment...

Congrats.. you certainly get 10/10 for perseverance.

Now don't disappear from the forum just cos you've got a plot...

    We love pictures.!

I feel your pain having to take on a full sized plot in good nick with a greenhouse. You'll never feel the joy of digging out all the carpets, fighting with brambles and clearing rubbish.

Nice looking plot and somewhere to start off all those seeds I'm sure you're now panic buying

Congratulations on your result Craigeroo. I've been watching this thread with fingers crossed for you, so pleased it worked out in your favour. Just in time for the new season too.

Thanks for the kind words and well wishes guys, I really appreciate them!

I fully expected to go this year without any growing so it's quite a shock to finally have one!

Thought it might be quite fun to start a wee blog with my progress, sure I've not got the hardest task in fighting back weeds and beating the ground in to submission, but I thought it'd be nice for my own sake to have some way to show my progress.

I'll start a new thread in another category just in case any of you are interested.

Now planning a trip to the garden centre on my day off tomorrow. Thank goodness I get paid on Wednesday!!
