Now I'm bricking it as the judging date is next monday............... I'm sure I will be able to have it ready but still need some words of encouragement........tips would also be good..........

Crops should not be left beyond an acceptable harvest point
    - unless of course you are saving seed!

Labelling expected. - I'd fail seriously on this one.

Awesome BM, I hope you do really really well

I'm afraid with the year I've had, I'd have to go and buy veg from the supermarket and 'plant' that out...I'd better remember to take the cellophane wrappers off first though

I'm fairly confident I can meet most of the criteria....the one that's bugging me is labeling......how do I label 100 sq ft of my SFG bed..................Think I will just put one sign up saying "Square Foot Bed"...........

You could draw it up on a sheet of A4. Laminate it, and nail it to a post at the end of the bed?

...or possibly several sheets of A4

You could produce a 'plot guide' - or an auditory commentary podcast...

If only I could reach you with my Dynamo thingy. There are garden planning tools out there for free - two month trial. Draw each bed up on that as PBS says, print, laminate and stick on a pole in each bed. Good luck with this, sounds interesting.

Can't offer you much in the way of advice but encouragement I can do
If the photos that you've been posting of your plot are anything to go by then you must be a front runner - that's if you haven't eaten all those cabbages, lettuces and courgettes by now I've never seen such a tidy plot!
As for the labelling, a laminated plan seems to me the best way to go, maybe in sections for the squarefoot bed.
                    Good luck, hope you win

Cheers VC, I have an overall plan on file but not one for the SFG.......100 beds is a lot and I didn't write everything down............most of it is pretty obvious to a fellow grower, assuming the judges are growers.......

Assume nothing BM!! They'll want every little thing clearly identified, or they'll mark you down

Can you list the plants in the SFG instead to trying to plot them exactly?
70 veg squares including..... 6 cabbage squares, 3 courgettes, 10 lettuce squares
                          30 flower squares ,,,,,a,b,c
I don't suppose the judges will actually count them all

EDIT - Maybe not if PB is right ^^^^^^^^
