  • Wire fencing

Does anyone know where i can get a large quantity (300m) of wire fencing to keep rabbits out? It is sooooooooooooo expensive but essential if I am going to have anything left to eat myself. It needs to be about 1.2m high so I can bury some.

Why does it need to be so high? Will stock fencing (square mesh) or chicken wire do?

Try local agricultural stores maybe. We get our stock fence from Derek Fox & Sons in Lancashire (google them, they have a webiste). They can give you prices for the posts, wire and sundries and if the order is over £150, they deliver free. We just did 100m of stock fence to keep the dog in and it cost us about £100 altogether (inc delivery charge)

stock fencing is no good OWG. A small rabbit can fly through 2" mesh!! & they can jump 2ft as well. You'll need to bury at least 6" Elmo
