  • what to grow next

Hi, i got my very overgrown plot in March and have managed to clear it and plant it up with all the usual stuff. however everything seems to be ready at the same time and i have harvested my onions garlic peas and french beans and once my potatoes are out in the next few week i will have a large amount of land clear.
Can anyone suggest anything to me that i can plant to fill this gap. or do i just have to wait till next spring?
i have allready got beans, sprouts, cabbage leeks and carrots as well as marrows. I would like to try something different or unusual if any one has any ides or advice i would be very gratefull.

Why don't you try some second cropping potatoes as they can be planted up until september and you will get a crop before xmas
Their not cheap but worth ever penny

Broad Beans, Garlic & winter Onions can be sown/planted around October. If you can get hold of some plants some leeks they'll stand all winter. still time to sow some cabbage for an early crop next year.
