We were offered a lotty about 4 or 5 weeks ago and have said YES of course 
so it was ours as soon as we got the paperwork done.
Ours is the one centre plot, that has already been nicknamed "The Thimble"
It was only given up about 2 or 3 month ago as the previous owner has been given another plot at the side of the one he already has.
Spoke to him the other weekend and he tells us that it has been well manured, so we don't have a vast amount to do before we can start planting.
