A bit of a daft question you might think. My feet get soooo cold when wearing wellies, can you buy liners for them or do you just wear a few pairs of socks?

My dad bought me hunter wellies a few years ago for my birthday and the boys bought me a pair of fleecy liner socks - cosy feet for me. Just be sure to get your wellies a bit on the big side to allow for the liners or the squashing will cause poor circulation and cold feet.Happy Gardening,

I do believe the boys bought mine either from the farmers co-operative (where I buy horse feed) or from the poncy horsey shop which costs a fortune. You could also try fishing socks from an angling store.Happy Gardening,

You should be able to find wellie liners either in farm / country pursuit type shops or on-line. I had a pair of wellie socks for my birthday and I wore them today they kept my feet nice and toastie. I bought a pair for sons gf from millets I dont like the very woolie ones as they make me itch.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak

Hi I get chilblains and the foot woman I go to (too complicated a word to spell lol) gave me some fantastic insoles. They are so warm. Not sure if you can buy them in the shops or not. They were like a green rubber tye affair and can be washed.

As an avid all year round motorcycle rider (yes even last week in the snow) I'm always on the look out for something warm for my feet. Unfortunately bike boots don't allow room for many extra's within the boot, unlike wellies of course. Depending on how much room you have to play with, there are several products on the market which may be worth a try. I would try one of the following:
-Neoprene socks (mentioned earlier as "fishermans socks")
-Battery powered socks.
-"Golfers" hand warmers - these are designed to fit inside the palms of the glove so are quite slender, they produce chemical heat when manipulated and can be re-charged.
All of the above are reasonably priced, the most expensive being the neoprene gloves.

Hi, i have a pair of hunter boots too, but when it gets too cold like now, i use my old thermal fishing boots. I used to use them when fishing on the beach in winter. I cant get the exact ones anymore, but this link shows a similar type, and at a reasonalbe price as well i think.
