Blue water pipe is the usual stuff.

Electrical conduit comes in all shapes n sizes n materials - MDPE pipe as mentioned by VC is pretty resilient to chemicals etc and fairly cheap and manages to be both flexible and strong so is often used - if the conduit is similiar material should be ok - UV stabilised is also something to consider...

I'd use mdpe pipe. 25mm if you are going to buy it. 20mm if scraps from building site. I have a feeling that White electrical conduit tends to shatter, but that may be the older stuff. Overflow pipe would also work.

There is no difference between Blue or Yellow - Water and Gas. Black is just imperial water pipe.
