Excellent news! You say there are empty plots? That is a surprise with the current GYO boom!

If the site manager did his job properly !!!! His own plot has unused greenhouse, very bad condidtion even in the spring / summer. I can think of at least 6 plots that are not used to full potential or even half at any time, one plot has a few strawberry plants and raspberrycanes that I gave plot holders last year and even they have died off. These are after all half plots not full sized ones. One plot has two greenhouses empty, shed and a sort of polytunnel but mesh instead of plastic, nothing is picked, last year it had two lovely full plum trees not picked by holder, then she chopped down a perfectly good tree. It saddens me that these plots are unused when there is a waiting list. If questioned the answer is always the same, they have to have notice to quit but its always the same plots and holders. One plot has slide etc on that was used instead of garden but children have now grown up. Another one has shed and greenhouse empty, havent seen hide nor hair of them for the last two years. The list goes on.
