    Inherited an unlevel concrete base

    Hi everyone,

    I'm thinking of erecting a greenhouse in the garden, maybe 12 or 14 feet long. Luckily the previous owner of the house has left a concrete base just the right size however it's not level. It slopes in one direction till about mid way along and then slopes in another direction. There's probably an inch or two difference between the highest and lowest points. Does anyone have any advice on how to sort it out?

    I have a concrete base and then we set the greenhouse on a row of bricks to give extra head room. You could level out and add some height at the same time

      use some strips of shuttering ply to go round the outside raising the whole thing by a minimum of 1/2 an inch or so using a spirit level to get the top of the wood level,like a frame,then just fill with concrete and level off with a board
      don't be afraid to innovate and try new things

          I think I did what Snakeshack says.

          My patio sloped away from the house, so there was half to an inch gap under some of the gh.

          I filled the gaps with that quick-set concrete mix from Wilko, it did the job. Someone more skilled & patient than me could do a better job.
