  • I am now the proud renter...

    of a 10m x 20m allotment. Whoo Hoo!!

Its not completely overgrown either, just ground weeds that need pulling up. Can't wait to get started but its raining really heavily today so will have to wait until next week.

Going to sit down this afternoon and plan what I would like to grow.

                Hi Becky

Just spotted your message about getting your plot! Good for you! Shame about the weather (it's been like that here today too!) stopping you getting stuck straight in but hope you enjoyed the planning and the visiting of garden centres!!!

Good luck with it all and I look forward to hearing how you're getting on!

Well done Becky!! Hope you have as much fun clearing your plot as we have, tho it sounds like you've an easier task, as ours was 8' deep in weeds!

Remember to take it a bit at a time, dont overdo it and enjoy yourself! We got our first bit of planting done tonight, at about 630pm, 50 onion sets into a corner of our first cleared bed, sense of acchievement is great!!

Congrats Bex, enjoy it. Time to get the catalogues in and start planning for next year. Hope the weather improves for you to get started. Enjoy and as everyone has already said take it step by step. It's really worth it.
