Has anyone had experience (positive or negative) of using greenplantswap?
I just joined it and am curious to see how it goes...

I joined it 6 years ago when there was nobody else nearby - and forgot all about it.

I've just looked and there are a lot more members now. Only one with something to swap.

I went to local pant and seed swap last year, just in a village hall - seemed to work OK.

Yeah, it seems to lack momentum, which is a bit of a shame. The number of members etc is too low to have critical mass.
Thanks for all responses, which confirm my gut feel on it...!

The cost of postage is probably a big issue for any setup which is not based locally, so people can meet up.

We have a local FB group called Crop Swap where you can give away surplus plants and crops.
Maybe you'll have something locally, Fred?
